Mistine Sunscreen Serum Broad Spectrum SPF 50

Finally, a sunscreen that actually delivers on its promises! Finding a facial sunscreen that provides heavy-duty protection without being a chore to wear is incredibly difficult, but this one hits every mark. I am extremely careful about sun exposure and do not want any sun on my face, so I need a product that actually does what it says. This serum absolutely delivers. It covers my face easily and absorbs quickly. There’s no heavy, greasy film left behind—just a smooth, comfortable finish. Zero eye burn, this is a huge plus for me. I’ve worn this out, gotten wet, and didn't experience a single hint of that awful, stinging eye burn that so many other sunscreens cause when they run.​I put this to the test by spending multiple hours out in the direct sun by our pool. When I came inside, my face hadn't changed color at all. Total protection.​If you are serious about sun prevention and need a reliable, high-performance daily sunscreen that feels weightless, I cannot recommend this enough. Small enough to travel with or throw in my beach bag or purse.

It smells nice, applies like a lightweight serum, and leaves a pretty glowy finish that makes skin look healthy and luminous.It also contains skincare ingredients like ceramides, panthenol, centella, rice extract, and hyaluronic acid, so it feels hydrating and comfortable on the skin.That said, I did notice my face felt more sensitive to the sun while wearing this compared to the physical sunscreens (zinc based) SPFs I use regularly. Despite the SPF 50 rating, the protection didn’t feel as strong during extended sun exposure. The formula uses older chemical UV filters (avobenzone, homosalate, octisalate), so if you’re very sun-sensitive or spend a lot of time outdoors, this may work better as an everyday casual sunscreen rather than a heavy-duty outdoor SPF.Overall: beautiful finish and pleasant texture, but I personally wouldn’t rely on it for intense sun exposure or long days outside.

You should never settle for a sunscreen that you don't enjoy using and wearing and that's why I appreciate formulas like this. This has a pleasant texture that's thinner than a lotion and more like a slightly viscous, hydrating serum.It's fragrance-free, leaves no white cast, and feels lighty moisturizing but not greasy. It has a slightly dewy finish and wears perfectly under makeup. As an added bonus, this has an SPF 50 which is better than what a lot of sunscreens offer.I feel like this is a winner and I really hope that more people try it.

Unlike thick cream sunscreens, this is a lightweight water-based formula that absorbs quickly into my skin without any heavy or greasy feeling. It feels comfortable and worked under my makeup without pilling.This is a popular Thai brand, but this US version is made in the US and uses approved chemical sunscreens including Avobenzone, Homosalate, and Octisalate. The formula is enriched with ceramides, rice bran extract, and hyaluronic acid, which have been studied for their benefits in supporting the skin's barrier, calming the skin, and providing hydration. My skin didn't react to this sunscreen and it didn't cause any irritation. After wearing it, my skin actually looked calmer and more soothed. I used it during a full day of errands outdoors and had no redness or signs of sun damage by the end of the day.This is a nice everyday sunscreen which feels pleasant to wear. The tube I received has an expiry date of January 2028, giving me plenty of time to use it.

MISTINE is actually a pretty popular Asian beauty brand, especially in Thailand, so it doesn’t give random no-name Amazon skincare vibes. The packaging feels clean and modern without trying too hard, and the ingredient list is surprisingly solid for the price point. I like that it includes skin barrier ingredients like ceramides, panthenol, centella asiatica, rice extract, and hyaluronic acid because that gives it more of a skincare-meets-sunscreen feel instead of just basic SPF. The lightweight non-oily finish claim also seems believable based on the formula. That said, it is still a chemical sunscreen using avobenzone, homosalate, and octisalate, so if you have super sensitive skin or sensitive eyes, there’s a chance it could sting or irritate a little. I also noticed the front says “free of octinoxate and oxybenzone,” which is nice, but it still uses older-gen UV filters instead of the newer Korean or Japanese filters people hype up right now. Overall though, it honestly feels like a well-rounded everyday sunscreen with decent skincare ingredients, solid SPF 50 protection, and more credibility than a lot of trendy TikTok brands. Not perfect or ultra luxury, but definitely not cheap junk either.

This was a nice face serum plus sunscreen. I like to feel of it and didn’t feel as thick as a regular sunscreen. It did give minimal protection while in the sun. It was easy to use and had a nice scent to it. The serum worked well and sensitive skin. It wasn’t the best for Long Beach days, but it worked well enough in my opinion. This was a great value.

This is a great face serum with spf 50. The tube is small enough to put in my beach bag or purse . The serum feels silky and non-greasy on my skin, while protecting it from the sun. I can put my makeup on over it without it feeling too heavy. I like that it doesn’t have any fragrance or other irritant for my skin.

This sunscreen works!I applied it to my face and neck, used nothing else. I then went out for a walk. It was a mild day with lots of sun. I had a light jacket on, then removed it at start of my walk. I had on a lower u-neck t-shirt, where as I normally have a higher neck shirt on. I didnt think anything of it and was out for 1 full hour in the sun.Later, I noticed a band of red just below my collar bone and upper chest, along the shirt line. I got burnt!! My face and neck was fine. No redness. SO the only spot that I got burnt was where I did not apply this. I can say with one use this worked.That is the main feature I look for in my sunscreen, haha. I burn easily. I get red easily even if the burn doesn't develop further. The next day I definitely still had the red band, so indeed I got legit burnt. But not my face and neck!However, there are other aspects I look for. I wear sunscreen daily, all year long. I focus on face, neck, and back of hands.I prefer a sunscreen that is also functional as skin care. If it can offer helpful ingredients above and beyond the sun protection factor, then I will nearly always choose that over just a basic sunscreen. At least for my first application of the day (you do reapply throughout day, yes?)This offers plenty of functional ingredients to make this a skin care product.It is a chemical sunscreen, so that means no white cast (I happen to also like mineral sunscreens and their white casts, but my skin in very fair). Anyway makes it super easy to slather on and not have to be concerned with white streaks or haziness.The active ingredients for sun protection are:--Avobenzone--Homosalate--OctisalateA brand born in Thailand, but "Made in the US". The brand has been around since the late 80sOverall I think it is good. It makes my skin feel hydrated and supple. Not at all greasy or oily. It goes on light, yet feels rich on my dry middle aged skin. It comes out in a light pale yellow cream. It massages in nicely, and "dries down" well. I have not yet paired it with make up as I rarely wear it. I think it will do fine with it as I can rub my finger across my skin where it is applies and it does not roll or pill. It works fine on top of other skin care products, and yet it works nicely as the only product used due to its added functional ingredients.I do not rate on price. I can see the price before ordering. If I love a product, I may splurge. I am not sure if this is a repeat order due to fact that it is just one ounce of product. Sunscreen is not to be used sparingly, and I can already tell after a few days use just on my face and neck that it is emptying. While still enough for several more applications, it is becoming a little harder to dispense. it is a tube with a pump style dispenser. I have to pump for than what is reasonable to get any out. When it does get closer to empty, I will for sure be cutting this open to scrape out all that is left.It says "travel size" in description, but not anywhere on product and I dont see any offerings that are larger. All of their sun care is in small quantities. Anyway, I dont reflect price in my rating because prices fluctuate and we all have different needs, budgets, preferences etc. But I comment :)Overall solid 4 stars.

I have tried so many sunscreens and always end up dealing with that greasy white cast or that awful stinging when it gets near my eyes not anymore. This one goes on like a dream, completely weightless and invisible on the skin with zero residue or chalky finish. The fact that it doubles as a serum means one less step in the morning which I really appreciate. The ceramides and panthenol have actually made a noticeable difference in how my skin feels throughout the day more balanced and hydrated without being heavy. No fragrance, no breakouts, no eye irritation even when sweating it just works.
